Chiropractic literally means "Done by hand" and while chiropractic as we know it is 121 years old, for centuries mankind has been using similar hands on techniques for alleviating musculoskeletal pain.

Modern day chiropractic is a scientific, evidence-based profession that focuses on manual therapy in the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal conditions that may impact further on your general health and well being.

Chiropractic care focuses around the chiropractic adjustment, a manipulation technique of the joints of the spine and extremities. It can then further include soft tissue techniques like massage or dry needling, electrotherapies like ultrasound, and advice on exercise, stretching, posture, activity, diet and supplementation.

Chiropractic is most commonly used to treat and resolve back pain, neck pain, headaches, sports injuries, colic, impinged nerves and joint or muscle pain and/or injury.
